Fender American Standard Stratocaster - 1997-98 excellent condition - reduced! in Billericay, Essex for sale

1997-98 American Fender Stratocaster Standard in black with lime green pick guard. You're looking at a very well looked after guitar which has seen very little action outside of the house. I have upgraded the pickups to GFS pro tube alnico chrome lipstick pickups which I ordered from the US. These are fantastic pickups and as well as looking great against the black and lime green, are tailored outputs of 8K bridge, 6K middle and 4.9K neck. I've lost count of the comments I've had about the look of the guitar. However, if you prefer to restore the guitar to its original condition I will sell the original Fender American single coil set and the black pick guard for £75 (pictures of both available on request but limited space here) but not nearly so eye catching as it is currently IMHO). These alone are worth over £100 The guitar is in overall very good condition for almost 20 years old but does have a few minor scratches and minimal buckle rash here and there. The neck has a couple of very very minor dings but nothing that affects playability. The fingerboard is lovely and frets are in good playable condition. I have recently polished them and treated the fingerboard to some lemon oil which really brings out the lovely rosewood grain. There are a couple of small flat spots on the lower frets from chord work but nothing that affects playability. I would describe overall condition as 9 out of 10. The guitar comes with the original Fender contoured hard case with black velour. There are a few minor scuffs outside but perfect inside and overall, very good condition and all catches and hinges are in good working order. Case candy with tremolo arm and Allen key also enclosed.
